HAPPY NEW YEAR...WELCOME 2011

A new year with new goals and new paths to embark on.  I am extremely excited for this year as my goals are clearer than ever and I'm adding some wonderful systems to better serve my clients in being the best real estate agent, friend, and colleague.  Thank you to all who have supported and who continuously support my business.  I am never too busy for any of your referrals!  Now lets create another year full of laughter and memories.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

To all my clients and business associates, I am forever wishing you health, happiness, and much laughter during this holiday season.  This is a great time to reflect, to be thankful for those in our lives and for the memories we have created in 2010.  I am greatful for the wonderful people in my life and I have many thanks to give to those who I have been blessed to work with and for those who have made memories with me this year.  I have some great plans for the new year and I will be delighted to have you all by myside!  Thank you and to a safe and happy holiday season.

The winter market is approaching and as the weather cools down, I have few suggesstions on getting your home and yourself ready for the winter.  A few recommendations are:  have your furnace serviced, cleaned, and ducts clean for ultimately clean air in your home.  If you haven't already, get your fireplaces cleaned and in proper working order, regardless if it's a wood burning fireplace or a gas fireplace needing it's pilot light to be turned on.  This is also a great time to check fire and monoxide alarms and to check windows and roofs just incase maintenance needs to take place.  A few other recommendations are to have a shovel, salt, and proper lawn/drive-way maintenance for the cold weather.  Stay safe and keep warm!

Wow, were did all this time fly by to?  I've had a successfully busy summer regardless of how the market started to turn.  HUGE Thank You's go out to my clients who have been constantly supporting my real estate services and whom I've really enjoyed working with.  It has been a pleasure to represent some great vendors and buyers who are now comfortably getting settled into their new/fabulous homes.  Every time I watch people move in or out of their homes, it puts the biggest smile on my face, knowing that I was apart of the real estate process.

Start to a wonderful week in the real estate industry.  Our office is being bombarded with new listings, office tours, and sold properties.  Also, our website is continuously being up-dated with new listings, a whole new 'links' section, and pictures.  Remember to call us for any real estate related questions!

We held an open house at: 218 Balmoral, which is a three bedroom, two bathroom townhome in Port Moody.  Busy! As we advertised on MLS with 8 groups with realtors and 7 individual groups come through, we got an offer that night which resulted in a successful sale.  The property successfully sold for 98% of list price.

Today we had an open house at our beautiful listing: 1235 Ioco Road.  It was a busy open house with over 15 groups of people that attended.  It is great to see buyers are shopping around early in the new year.  For those thinking of listing in the spring, don't wait! Our buyers are out and ready to buy.

A few weeks have passed and the holiday cheer is among us.  To catch you up on some of our actions:  We sold 6471 Winch Street, North Burnaby;  this was a HOT listing with numerous phone calls and showings daily.  Great price, great location, and another successful sale.  The Home Rep Team has also listed a new, fabulous home: 715 Bowler Street, New Westminster.  Pictures and details of this charming home will be posted shortly.  We've been working with our great buyers, and a few deals are coming together for a great start to 2010.  We also wanted to say 'Thank You' to all the clients and associates who have been sending us Christmas cards and emails.  Laura Holland from the Holland Law Group hosted a fabulous Christmas Party, which was great to catch up with other professionals and do some shopping.  Thank You Laura!! Also, a huge Thank You to the RE/MAX All Points Group for the Christmas Party and to the Dominion Lending Casa Mortgage Group for their Christmas party with yummy food, dancing, and great spirit.  Thank you all!!

The holiday season has officially started! Christmas in just 23 days, New Years in just 29 days, and the Olympics in just 72 days.  Even with all the festivities, the Real Estate market is still holding strong.  Today we have numerous showings at our new listing: 6471 Winch Street in Burnaby North.  We are also preparing an Open House at 1235 Ioco Road in Port Moody for this Sunday, December 6 from 1-4PM.  In just days, we will be listing another fabulous home in New Westminster, which we will keep you informed of.

What a great day to enjoy a break from the rain...or have I spoken to soon :)  Downtown Vancouver was just beautiful this morning while I was sitting in on a home inspection for a unit on the 29th floor in an amazing building in False Creek North.  The beautiful water views, looking out onto Granville Island, English Bay, and the ocean, was just breath taking.  Congratulations to my buyers!

It's a great time to be buying and selling!  Today we listed 6471 Winch Street in Burnaby North which is an amazing investment property with great tenants, positive cash flow, and a beautiful lot.  We also assisted our buyers in an accepted offer for a condo in Port Coquitlam.  It's great to see both vendors and buyers are in great spirits with the holidays fast approaching.
